PURIM

This project includes characters from the book of Esther in the Bible. It tells the story of a young Hebrew orphan girl who is taken into the harem of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes) and made Queen of Persia. When a plot to kill all the Jews devised by the conniving Haman comes to the attention of her cousin Mordecai, she is faced with a threatening call to action: she has to risk her life by approaching the king in order to save her people.
